The Department of Hindi, University of Kashmir organised from today 3 day national seminar on Hindi Saahitya : Samvaad Koushal (Dialogue skills in hindi literature) 19th-21st November 2024.
Honorable VC Prof. Nilofar Khan presided over the inaugural session of the event.The other dignitaries included Ex. Dean, School of Arts, Languages and Literatures & Head department of hindi, university of Kashmir, Prof. Zohra Afzal, Deputy Director, Dr. Mohmmad Naseem, Central Hindi Directorate, Ministry of education, new delhi, Chairman, Shaikh-Ul-Aalam Centre for Multidisciplinary Studies Prof. Adil Amin Kak & Head, Department of Hindi, Kashmir University, Prof. Rubi Zutshi, Senior Professor, Department of Hindi, Prof. Zahida jabeen among others were also present.

Speaking on the Occasion, VC Kashmir University Prof. Nilofar Khan said that the Department of Hindi is progressing in a versatile way & students from outside the country are also admitted in the Department. She advised the Head of the Department to conduct regular workshops in the Department so that Hindi language is promoted at grass root level. In her motivational speech, Honorable VC directed Hindi Department to conduct national & international seminar cum workshops for students & research scholars also as that is the need of the hour.
Dr. Mohmmad Naseem, Deputy Director, Central Hindi Directorate, New delhi delivered key note address of the seminar.
Prof. Zohra Afzal stressed the importance of the theme of seminar.
Prof. Zahida Jabeen, senior professor of hindi department delivered the welcome address and threw light on the main theme of the seminar. She apprised the guests about the achievements of the Department & informed the audience that the Department is hosting students of National and International backgrounds & is progressing well.

The event compering was done by Dr. Mudasir Ahmad Bhat, assistant professor of hindi department & Ms. Nairah Qureshi, assistant professor, Department of Hindi delivered the vote of thanks.
